2013年11月16-17日，联合国世界旅游组织知识网络讲坛与教育质量认证信息研讨会在香港理工大学酒店及旅游业管理学院隆重举行。本次讲坛共接受了我院旅游管理系三篇论文，分别是：Setting up the Tourism marketing Information System of China in the Context of Big Data（作者：李瑛），The Practice and Perspective of the Research and Education on Sustainable Heritage Tourism in Regional Development（作者：余洁），Re-recognition of several basic issues of modern tourism research,（作者：邵金萍）。

本讲坛的宗旨是为各层次的旅游教育科研单位提供交流机会，共同探讨与分享通过研究、教育与培训促进旅游做大做强的经验。李瑛副教授在知识管理主讲坛上作了题为《Setting up the Tourism marketing Information System of China in the Context of Big Data》的演讲；余洁副教授在旅游研究实践（特别关注中国）讲坛上作了题为《The Practice and Perspective of the Research and Education on Sustainable Heritage Tourism in Regional Development》的演讲；邵金萍副教授在旅游研究方法讲坛上作了题为《Re-recognition of several basic issues of modern tourism research》的演讲；并分别与与会者进行了相关细节的讨论。

在17日的教育质量认证信息研讨会上，联合国世界旅游组织官员、教育质量评审员以及通过认证院校的代表分别介绍了教育质量认证的程序、要求及相关经验，为我院旅游管理系进一步迈向国际化奠定了基础。
